The Board of Directors informs owners that, following the Association’s recent insurance renewal review, the master insurance policy deductible will increase from $10,000 to $25,000, effective May 25, 2026.
This change was carefully considered as part of the Association’s insurance renewal process to help manage rising insurance premiums affecting condominium communities nationwide. Choosing a higher deductible allowed the Association to reduce annual premium costs and may also limit smaller multi-unit water-damage claims submitted through the master policy.
To make sure you're fully covered, owners are encouraged to review their HO-6 condominium insurance policies with their insurance carrier to ensure they have adequate coverage for deductible assessments and potential unit-related damages.

Please pay your Condo Fee on time:
It's the owner's obligation to pay their monthly Condo Fee on time, fees which arrive after the first of the month are subject to a late charge. These days the mail has gotten so slow that some owners, who have mailed in their fees, have incurred a late payment. So if you use the US Mail, in order for your payment to arrive on time, please pay well in advance.
Auto Draft is the best option for paying your assessments on time. With Auto Draft your scheduled payment will be automatically withdrawn from your bank every month. Should your Association's assessment rate increase or decrease, the draft amount will automatically change, you won't need to take any action for this adjustment to occur. To get Auto Draft go to your Vantaca home page, sign in and look for enrol in Auto Draft. Place SECURELY tied plastic trash bags outside your unit between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Please do not place trash outside the night before. This attracts rodents and other animals. Large Item Pick-up: Large items such as old furniture can be disposed of on the FIRST Saturday of each month. Bring the items to the designated drop-off point in your court. Recycling: Recycling receptacles for collecting plastic containers (#1 through #7), metal cans (aluminum & steel), and paper and cardboard are put out on Tuesdays and collected on Wednesday morning. Mixed glass is no longer accepted. Newspapers, mixed paper, catalogs, magazines should be secured in paper bags or tied up securely with string. Cardboard should be broken down and placed beside the recycling receptacles. “For more details see the Need to Know page” Personal Items in the Common Area: For everyone’s safety, no bicycles, scooters, baby carriages, bird feeders, sporting equipment, chairs, ADT/Security Signage, decorative landscape metal fences, decorative rocks, planters, kids’ vehicles or toys, or other personal articles shall be allowed to stand in any of the common areas. Call All Plumbing Company at: 703-525-7973 and identify yourself as a Fairlington Arbor resident. The Arbor is NOT responsible for any charges incurred. You might need to call Arlington County to schedule an interruption of water service to complete your repairs. Contact the county at 703-228-6555. Lawn Treatment Information The Arbor contracts with a landscaping company to mow and treat our lawns. Arbor management sends Arbor Alert e-mails to residents in advance of any lawn treatment. Forty eight hours before a treatment application, the Arbor's landscaping company also posts signs in each court alerting residents to lawn applications. If you would like information about the fertilizers and/or herbicides being applied, please contact the Arbor office. |
